The Yakima Nation’s efforts to repopulate the Sockeye Run to Lake Cle Elum has achieved record numbers of spawners. Returning fish are being trucked around the Cle Elum Dam for now, but the Yakima Basin integrated plan promising fish passage in the future. Great work, and we strongly support both the tribe and the state and federal work being done to restore this run. Kudos.
